The Macedonian Collection at Widener Library of Harvard University holds circulating volumes of general and popular fiction and non-fiction books, periodicals, and videos in Macedonian language. The size of the collection in Macedonian language alone is approximately 7,000 volumes.
Relevant materials (on the subject of Macedonia) in various foreign languages in other formats (e.g., maps, prints, videos and computer files), are also held by several specialized Harvard libraries (Law Library, Loeb Music Library, etc.).
One of our former vendors, Mirče Nešovski, is a famous Macedonian poet. Due to him our collection contains materials that cover poetic life in Macedonia, including a traditional event “Poetska noќ vo Velestovo”.
