    The Biographisch-Bibliographisches Kirchenlexikon (BBKL) is a German biographical encyclopedia related to the history of the Church, founded 1975 by Friedrich Wilhelm Bautz. It contains more than 20,000 biographical articles with bibliographies of the person’s work and selected secondary readings.
